FORGOT YOUR DETAILS?

The main difference between granite and marble is in the composition of each type.

Granite is formed by three minerals: mica, feldspar and quartz. These are responsible for strength, durability and beauty. Ideal for kitchen countertops, laundry area, indoor and outdoor areas. They are not easily scratched and have low porosity which makes the granite not stain easily. Water absorption differs between the tones found.

Marble, on the other hand, is a metamorphic natural rock composed mainly of calcite minerals, with a more uniform coloration with formation of defined veins. It is less resistant and more porous than granite. Being more porous it is more susceptible to stains and can absorb fat. Choose carefully for these characteristics.
